A Circle of Sisters
We may not be sisters by blood or family. But as women we have the capacity to build uniquely strong relationships with other women. We want to see Grace Chapel as a place where women can come and join a circle of sisters, where we can form strong bonds of love and friendship. We are women who are on a life journey and each of us at various stages in our lives whether by age or experience or circumstance.
Life has its ups and downs. As we have struggles, disappointments and hurt, our circle of sisters will be there to support and encourage. And when big events happen we will be able to celebrate together. As women of Faith we have experienced the love of God. God is on our journey with us. We have a relationship with God as well. We see how God works in the lives of each of us.
As a Circle of Sisters at Grace Chapel our goal is to build strong caring relationships with women. We want to reach out to women in our lives and, invite them into our circle. We want to share our relationship with God as we live life together.
Let’s begin to think of other women who are not here today. Some women that you know may or may not come to church. We want to make them welcomed and invited to our group. We need to connect with those who attend our church. We also want to invite our friends and those we know but don’t see too often. We want to do some activities on a different day sometimes so that they might be able to join us. We want to reach out to others in our community so that they will be a part of the circle even though they may not attend the activities

News for April 2010
It seems like this is the year of refreshing. The new projects at the church and the completion of others are a good sign of this. Our projector project is on good example, we took what we had and then installed a better projector, electronic screen, a new computer
with new programs and used the old one to project on the wall. The music videos is another project that is at the point of refreshing,
people like the music and we are in the process of ordering more of the music videos, we will need your help on this one
(more information on this to come). The patio has changed the look to the church and once the awning is up and the doors installed it will really refresh the entrance of the church. It is a time of refreshing indeed. We have also had a higher attendance at the church
and people are connecting with the Lord at both on Sunday and Wednesday services.
On Monday, some paint patches of various colors went up in the sanctuary. The purpose is to see what colors we are going to use
in the sanctuary. We are in the "we want to see what it looks like" stage. It is in its formation stage and these paint patches will be
through up through Sunday. Once the colors are decided then we will move on to the project. One thing assured me is that it is paint, we can paint over it if we need to. We are checking for the best color palette and we have a the best person for this job.
If you look at the history of the projects, I have mentioned above, they are not conducted by committees. The purpose behind this is that teams are work teams or ministry teams. They are organized to get things done, not to debate the various aspects of the work. The team leader chooses who they will work with and the process and progress of the project. Those responsible of the teams decide what is happening with the progress of the projects, they do hear what is being said by the church and also let pastor know and give report on what is happening at the servants counsel. This helps everything stay unified. I mention all of this because there are several new people at the church. This will help you understand the process of various projects in the church and as a reminder to long term members as well.
It is a time of refreshing at Grace Chapel. Pray for one another and especially those who are responsible for the various aspects of the church ministries. Remember to pray for those who do the routine things, office work, cleaning, set up for Sunday morning, fellowship table, children's church and the development of the youth program.
God is doing something new among us,
Let us continue to pray for the progress and the ministry for the people.

The International Cowboy Church Pastor's Conference in Tombstone Arizona, was hosted by the Tombstone Cowboy Church, with Pastor David and
Donna Bails. They had a prayer team in the Prayer Room praying for and through the entire event. The Conference was attended by people from Washington, Oregon, California, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and New Mexico just to name a few. The Conference was open to
people both from the platform, in the pew, and those who might just walk in.

The messages were inspirational and directed to building the Kingdom of God and expanding the vision God gave to the pastors. One point that stood out in the messages was the fact that faith without works is dead; the ministry requires a lot of work. The gatherings for worship leaders; pastors and church leaders helped many of the worship leaders and pastors with decisions they were working through. The sharing from those in the workshops provided a collective wisdom from long term and new pastors alike. They also welcomed the input from those not part of the organization.
What was most noticeable was the clarity and down to earth communication coming from the platform and from the people. There was such openness and love displayed from the leaders and those on the platform. They would all tell you that it was because of the
Holy Spirit working through their lives.
The worship sessions were just that. The praise team was made up of worship leaders (and pastors) from the various churches attending. The unity that was displayed among them was so noticeable that it was mentioned by the leaders of the conference. During and after the worship there were words of prophecy and prayer for those who needed to come before the Lord for various needs. There was enought time to let the Holy Spirit move during the conference.
This conference was in its quality as good and better than some conferences I have attended personally in the past.
