This past couple of weeks I heard the greeting for Christmas as “happy holidays”.
It is a wonderful time of the year. We celebrate the birth of Jesus our Savior, Creator and Messiah.
I am not offended that people do this because it is up to us who believe to share the miracle of what this season brought to the world.
At an appropriate time, I said, “Merry Christmas”. The response I received was, “Merry Christmas” in return. The more we do this the more appreciation for the season we will find.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:6-7)
