The County fair is approaching fast, it is in September in Douglas Arizona. Our school will enter items in several categories. The judges will look at all of the entries and reward the students for the best work in the different entries.

The Bible tells us that the judgment for the believer is for the rewarding of good behavior and good works. This is not a judgment of condemning someone to hell. A believer should not fear that judgment if they keep their faith in the Lord active. Jesus took care of our destiny if we continue in the faith.

#1 The Bema Seat is where the Saints are Judged and Rewarded

  • We are awarded crowns by the acts they represent.
  • Even a cup of cold water given to a prophet will not go unnoticed.
  • Your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Romans 10: 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

#2 Both the Good and the Bad of Your Life will be Laid Open Before God and will be Dealt with

  •  Your bad works will be burned and be removed by fire.
  •  There will be a sense of loss
  • Then joy for what God has done for us
  • What remains is the good (gold, silver and precious stones)
  • That is what you will be rewarded for.

#3  You will be Rewarded for the Efforts You show for the Lord and the Kingdom

  • Believing in God
  • Suffering loses
  • Going to the various places to minister
  • Giving
  • Helping others
  • Leading others to the Lord
  • Praying for others

Our works will be rewarded by God himself. It is not ALL sacrifice and nothing to show for it, in the Christians life. There are many rewards when it comes to God rewarding the saints.

We are created for good works and when we do them we know that one day we will stand before God and He reward us.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
